St John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) found in Kira LowMood Relief
St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a herbal remedy providing support for low mood, mild anxiety & similar mental health conditions.
It has found in research to increase the activity of brain chemicals such as serotonin and noradrenaline that are thought to play an important part in regulating our mood.
St John's wort (Hypercium perforatum) is an erect perennial plant which grows up to 1m tall, with yellow flowers. If is found growing throughout Europe, Asia and America. The leaves are yellow- green in colour and scattered with translucent dots of glandular tissue. These glands are where the essential oil is stored. Brown-black glandular dots are sometimes present along the edges. The yellow flowers contain hypericine which when ground leaves a red colouration.
The dried flowering tops or aerial parts of the plant are ground & dried to produce the key ingredient for our Kira Low Mood Relief.

Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) found in Kira Menopause relief
Black Cohosh is a perennial herb found in North East American, and was first used by Native American Indians to help treat female problems .
It first become popular in the mid-1950’s when it was found to help and produce and 'oestrogen-like effect’ on menopause conditions such as hot flushes, night sweats and temporary changes of mood.

Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) found in Kira Restful Sleep
Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is a perennial herb native to Europe and Asia. It has naturally sweetly scented white and pink flowers, which are only harvested from September to October for Medicinal use.
The Valerian root can be used to assist with sleep concerns such as restless nights, mild insomnia & anxiety.
This used in conjunction with a regular sleep schedule, healthy varied diet & limited Caffeine hopefully will aid with those sleep struggles.
